As a D/A converter that supports SACD, or as a network player, there are three ways of enjoying superb sound quality of the N-01XD that incporporates high quality descrete DAC inherited from the Grandioso series.

 



 
   
If you already own an SACD Transport from ESOTERIC, just replace the existing DAC with the N-01XD, so that you can enjoy SACDs with high quality discrete DAC.
* Network function can be disabled.		   By hooking up the N-01XD to a computer via USB cable, you can playback hi-res music as high as DSD 512 (22.5MHz).   Using the N-01XD as a network player by connecting to your LAN in home with a CAT5 cable.
* If you don't have a NAS (a Network Attached Server as a music server) yet, you can still enjoy music in the same way by hooking up a USB flash drive or USB hard drive to the N-01XD's front USB port.
